Kimberley O’Neill is an artist, filmmaker and educator based in Glasgow.
Her artistic practice circles around themes of class, technology and the body, attempting to develop a filmic point of view that shows the entangled nature of subjectivity. Where characters are porous to and intermeshed with their environments and each other. The films often draw on techniques from experimental documentary, starting from
oral testimony or interview.
In her filmmaking practice she often collaborates and is commissioned across a range of documentary and filming projects.
O’Neill has been a part-time lecturer in Communication Design at Glasgow School of Art since 2013.
